Terry is also responsible for the station's computer system which you often hear people talk about. Terry likes to say:
"I have a very responsible job at KBZY... Whenever something goes wrong, I am responsible."
Often you'll hear him banter with Captain Richard from The Willamette Queen every Thursday. Terry says,
"He just keeps coming back for more."
Terry has been at Salems' First Choice KBZY for 17 years and in radio off and on since 1974 when he began working for KLOK in San Jose, California. Terry has worked in radio in New Mexico as well as in Denver Colorado before ending up here in Oregon. Terry has been affectionately dubbed "Solitisimo" by the KBZY's listeners. Terry has his own radio show from 10am - 3pm, then puts on his other hats at KBZY.

Terry & Patty love to grab their spoiled dog (Bingo, the Poodle) and take off in their RV. Terry has done his radio show from such places as Mt. Rushmore, Denver, Colorado, The Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New Mexico, & Canada just to name a few. Terry & his wife Patty are the proud parents of the "world's greatest sons", Ryan age 26 is a Firefighter / EMT & Michael age 22 is very much into cars. Terry coached junior high soccer for Silver Crest Raiders Soccer Team for 10 years. Terry has also been the live "play-by-play" announcer for Roller Derby since 1975. Terry has announced Roller Derby games in just about every major arena in the country. Terry says the memorable games are the ones in New York at Madison Square Garden.

In addition to his career in radio broadcasting, Terry has extensive experience in business management and recently sold a sucessful business of his own. Terry is often asked to be Master of Ceremonies as numerous events around Salem. Terry is currently on the Marion County Fair Board.
Comedy:
February 2008, Terry was asked to open for "America's Got Talent" Winner Terry Fator at the Elsinore Theater in Salem, Oregon. Terry had so much fun, when asked by Louie Anderson to open for him at the Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City, Oregon in April. Terry jumped at the chance. Louie was so impressed by Terry's comedy, he invited Terry to open for him at the Excalibur Casino-Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip for a week in May, and then another week in September. What a year it has been, Terry opened for "American Idol's" Kellie Pickler in July. Now he is schedule to once again return for a week at the Excalibur in Las Vegas with Louie Anderson. They have become friends. In October Terry went on tour for 3 nights with The Kingston Trio & Brothers Four in Oregon. Terry just completed an 8-city tour with the great Glenn Yarbrough. This year Terry continues to open for many know acts.
